Most people that use an Email service tend to use Gmail as it offers an intuitive user-interface that is simple and easy to use. Don’t be fooled by the simplicity because Gmail has a lot to offer its users. According to many sources, it is revealed that the web version of Gmail is about to get much more useful. New additions are offered to the context menu. Now when you access the right-click features you will benefit from many new things.
In order to access the right-click features, all you need to do is right-click your touch-pad or mouse. You probably already know how to do it anyway. If you are tired of the lame three right-click options then your prayer has been answered because there has been a huge improvement in the options. Your options are not limited to delete, mark as unread or archive anymore because Gmail has a lot to offer.
Paid G Suite users will access the new features first. Free Gmail users will also get to use these new options. So, if you want to know what these new options are, then keep on reading.
Now, you don’t need to click on the message to reply or forward the message. You can easily do it by selecting the right-click options.
Normally, most of us have to first open the message and then search for the Reply All button. However, times have changed because you can simply do it by choosing the desired right-click feature.
Find Email from Sender
You can now select “Find Email from sender” to search for all messages from that specific sender. This is incredibly useful when trying to access the history of that person.
Another great right-click feature is “Search Subject”. If the conversation view has been turned off, you can simply search for all the messages that have the same subject.
Users can now open multiple Email messages in multiple new windows simultaneously. This is incredibly useful if you would like to serially take care of the various subjects without having to go through different subjects as it would have only distracted you.
Remove messages from the inbox temporarily by selecting the snooze option. You can choose to “Snooze” the messages until you want to see them later. Users will get to choose the time-frame such as next week, next hour or next day. Gmail understands that you might accidentally snooze messages too which is why it lets you check the snoozed messages by choosing the Snoozed option below the menu.
Add Label/ Move
Organizing messages can be tough. However, those of you that are obsessed with Email classification will be glad to know that the “Add Label/ Move” feature lets you individually label or move messages and even in bulk.
Mark as Unread
Finally, Gmail lets you mark messages as unread. This is perfect for all important messages which you need to go through once again.
